#Thatblackgirltravels to Russia - My Verdict

So I went, I saw, I conquered! I went to Russia with no real 'Tourist' plan and a very open mind. I left feeling refreshed and back to my old spontaneous self with a wealth of new knowledge about a beautiful city! One of the things I learnt was, if you listen to all the nay-sayers you may never truly know what you can accomplish!

Moscow's must-see places - The Kremlin and Red Square.

I spent 3 days in Moscow so I needed to be smart about what I saw as I didn't have a lot of time. Visiting the Red Square is tricky, as it can be closed to visitors for government events. Make sure you have a backup day if you don't get in the first time. I got asked to be in many many random pictures and several people tried to touch my hair like I wouldn't notice. At the Red Square, this was multiplied by 2. I don't mind pictures at all but "DONT TOUCH THE FRO".

It's free to visit the square and if you don't go into the Kremlin you don't spend a penny. Tickets to the Kremlin armoury & exhibitions are pricey, the lines are also fairly long, so I settled for admiring it from the outside (pictured).
